The Status App

Communicate your availability for calls and text messages to let your friends and family know whether you are busy, in a meeting, or free to talk or chat. Sort your contacts into different groups like Family or Friends and set your availability for each group. With The Status App installed on your contacts phone you inform how and when you can receive communication from them.

Let your contacts know with freeform text when you are—
• In a meeting
• In bed
• At a Doctor’s appointment
• Out of town
• Out shopping
• In class
• In flight
• Etc.

Set your status to indicate whether you can take calls only, text only on phone or WhatsApp or any combination. This App gives you back control of your life!

Let your family and friends in other time zones know whether you are available or asleep. Feel like talking to a friend at a late hour? Simply check their status to see if they are still up.

Place a call or send a text directly from the app by simply clicking on the text, call, or WhatsApp icon for your contact in the app — if available you will be taken directly to the app to connect with them. You can still call in an emergency simply by going to your phones call or text app.

Using the app is as simple as—
• Create a group name
• Add contacts to the group
• Set your status individually for call, text, and WhatsApp
• Done!

Create separate groups for family, friends, activity members, coworkers, project teammates, etc. Set and change different status for each. Easily create and modify groups, contacts, and status.

At work and busy? Set your status to busy to indicate you do not wish to be called or texted. Or that you can take texts but not calls.

Driving? Set you status to indicate so and that you can take calls but not texts.

Salesperson? Set your status to “In Sales Call” or “Meeting” or simply “Busy” to avoid being interrupted during a sales call or meeting by your selected contacts.

As a Doctor, set your status to “In a Consult”, or “In Surgery” so you don’t get calls or text from your contacts.

With this App, your contacts can still contact you in case of emergency or urgency since you are not turning off your ringer or your phone.

Breast Cancer Risk Visualisation

The application aims to explain, visualise and compare a woman's risk of developing breast cancer against a comparable average woman in the population. While this application has been designed specifically for patients that attend the high-risk breast cancer clinic in Cork University Hospital, Ireland, it can be used by any patient that receives IBIS scores from a consultant.

It utilises both personal and population based IBIS scores given by consultants of breast cancer clinics. Following a meeting with a consultant and a review of all personal risk factors, the patient will be given a set of individual risk scores and population risk scores. In some instances (but not all), this set may include additional risk figures e.g. BRCA1 and BRCA2, which can also be entered into the application.

The total set of risk scores can then be entered into this application. For each different risk, it will display and compare them in a manner that should allow the user to better understand them. Your consultant will take you through each risk figure in the application during your meeting.

The application can save up to 10 different sets of user risk figures - it does not save any identifiable information about the user, and the risk sets can be easily cleared if so wished.

1. Vocabulary
-You can create a vocabulary book with the name you want and enter words.
-The basic vocabulary book is classified according to the state of the entered word.
-You can save the last view settings for each vocabulary.
-Remember the last learning position for each vocabulary and restore it.

2. Write
-You can enter words without restrictions.
-You can add pictures, descriptions, and tags along with words and meanings.
-You can import photos from cameras, albums and files.

3. Tags
-You can add tags to vocabulary and words.
-You can collect tagged words and vocabulary books in the tag vocabulary book.

4. Learning
-You can hide the meaning or word in the list and check the hidden content with a touch.
-Known words can be divided into years and unknown words can be divided into clouds.
-You can edit/delete/bookmark easily from the sliding menu.
-You can use quizzes and flashcards right from the list you are learning.
-On the word detail view page, you can see the description or tag registered for the word.

5. Statistics
-You can check the amount of learning for a week.

-You can create a vocabulary book using csv files.
-You can use dropbox to back up your vocabulary or automatically sync it with other devices.
